The Caim
The Caim is set on 2.5 acres of land in the Luthermuir area of Aberdeenshire and centres around rhythms of nature, the land and faith. We’re offering accessible pathways into wild & locally-grown food – for our own health, the health of our communities and the health of the planet.
We seek to grow a wide range of fresh local, seasonal produce of vegetables and fruit. Sharing produce via larders and to others who can give as they are able.
Give opportunities for ‘meaningful gardening activity’, to listen to people and to build relationships across the communities. Offer a different expression of the Christian way rooted on the land and an expression of Celtic monastic elements and rhythms.

A Community of
Participation and Learning
Through the market garden the project will offer regular opportunities for all ages to participate in growing and harvesting across the year. We will offer particular times for sharing and learning how to sow, propagate with cuttings and prune, etc.
Veg Bags
Throughout the year, receive veg across the seasons harvest.

Up Coming events
What community events do we have coming up?
Throughout the year, we run seasonal events for our community, with on and off the farm. We believe that gathering around a long table or smoking fire, eating food from the land, sharing knowledge, taking positive action for our local environment is a powerful way to build community. Do you want to be part of that?
